Description

Boat Dip (Rotel Ranch Dip) is a simple, creamy, and flavorful appetizer that combines the rich, tangy taste of ranch seasoning with the zesty kick of Rotel tomatoes and green chilies. Perfect for parties, game days, or casual get-togethers, this no-cook dip is easy to prepare and customizable based on your spice preference. Whether served with chips, crackers, or fresh veggies, Boat Dip is always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies (mild, medium, or hot)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the dip base: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mix. Blend until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or spoon.
  • Add the Rotel: Drain the Rotel to remove excess liquid, then stir the tomatoes and chilies into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Mix in cheese (optional): If desired, stir in shredded cheddar cheese for extra creaminess and flavor.
  • Chill the dip: For best results, cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. If you’re short on time, you can serve immediately.
  • Serve: Garnish with green onions (optional), and serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.

Notes
