Description

These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are the ultimate quick meal, combining tender chicken, melty cheese, and a burst of garlic flavor, all wrapped in a soft, crispy tortilla. Perfect for busy weeknights or a comforting snack, these wraps are full of flavor and texture, offering the perfect balance of savory and cheesy goodness. With a crispy exterior and creamy filling, each bite is a satisfying delight!

Ingredients

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 large flour tortillas
1 tbsp butter, for cooking
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Cook for 6-8 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Stir until creamy and well combined.
  • Lay out tortillas and evenly distribute the cheesy chicken mixture among them.
  • Roll each tortilla tightly, folding in the sides to seal the filling inside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the skillet, garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add extra veggies: Sautéed spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers make great additions to the filling.
  • Spicy version: Add cayenne pepper, chili flakes, or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Cheese variations: Try using pepper jack, gouda, or Swiss for different flavor profiles.
  • Healthier options: Use whole wheat or low-carb tortillas and replace cream cheese with Greek yogurt for a lighter alternative.
