Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

For the Cheesy Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For Assembling the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Fresh lettuce (optional)
  • Sliced tomatoes (optional)
  • Salsa or ranch dressing (optional, for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C). Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  2. Make the Cheesy Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  3. Add the Cheese: Stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, continuing to cook until the sauce is smooth and the cheese has melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Lay tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly distribute sliced chicken in the center of each tortilla. Spoon the cheesy garlic sauce over the chicken.
  5. Add Toppings: Optionally, add fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, or any other desired toppings.
  6. Wrap & Serve: Roll up the tortillas, folding in the sides to enclose the filling. Serve immediately with salsa or ranch dressing on the side if desired.
