Description

Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a delicious and easy-to-make meal featuring tender chicken, melted cheddar and mozzarella, and a creamy garlic sauce wrapped in a warm tortilla. This 25-minute recipe is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, offering a flavorful and satisfying bite every time.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • ½ cup creamy garlic sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season the Chicken: In a bowl, mix diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from heat.
  • Assemble the Wraps: Spread creamy garlic sauce on each tortilla, then layer with cooked chicken, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese.
  • Grill the Wraps: Fold each tortilla over the filling, then grill in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  • Serve: Slice the wraps in half, garnish with parsley, and enjoy hot.

Notes

  • Spicy Kick: Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra heat.
  • Veggies: Include bell peppers, spinach, or onions for added nutrition.
  • Cheese Variations: Try pepper jack, Monterey Jack, or gouda for a unique twist.
  • Storage: Refrigerate wrapped leftovers for up to 3 days.
  • Reheating: Warm in a skillet for crispiness or in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
