Description

Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are a fun and flavorful snack made with buttery biscuit dough, gooey mozzarella cheese, and savory mini pepperoni. These bite-sized pizza treats are perfect for any occasion, whether as an appetizer, party food, or a quick snack. Serve them with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping. Easy to make and full of cheesy goodness, these pizza bombs will quickly become a family favorite!

Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp melted butter

1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (ensure they are halal if needed)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

Marinara or pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Separate each biscuit and flatten it slightly using your hands or a rolling pin to create mini circles.

  3. In the center of each dough circle, place a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few mini pepperoni slices.

  4. Pinch the edges of the dough around the filling to seal the pizza bomb.

  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this over each dough ball.

  6. Arrange the pizza bombs on the baking sheet with the sealed side facing down.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  8. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • For healthier options, you can use whole wheat biscuit dough, low-fat cheese, and olive oil instead of butter.

  • These pizza bombs can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.

  • To freeze, assemble the pizza bombs, freeze them on a baking sheet, then store in a freezer-safe bag. Bake directly from frozen when ready.
