Ingredients
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (ensure they are halal if needed)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
Marinara or pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Separate each biscuit and flatten it slightly using your hands or a rolling pin to create mini circles.
-
In the center of each dough circle, place a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few mini pepperoni slices.
-
Pinch the edges of the dough around the filling to seal the pizza bomb.
-
In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this over each dough ball.
-
Arrange the pizza bombs on the baking sheet with the sealed side facing down.
-
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
-
Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
-
For healthier options, you can use whole wheat biscuit dough, low-fat cheese, and olive oil instead of butter.
-
These pizza bombs can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
-
To freeze, assemble the pizza bombs, freeze them on a baking sheet, then store in a freezer-safe bag. Bake directly from frozen when ready.
