Description

This Crockpot Chicken and Gravy recipe delivers a simple yet delicious comfort food meal with tender chicken in a creamy gravy. Ingredients

34 boneless skinless chicken breasts

¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

2 packets of chicken gravy mix (0.87 ounce each)

1 can of cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounce)

1 can of chicken broth (14.5 ounce)

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard (optional)


Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.

  • In a separate bowl, mix together the chicken gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Stir until well combined.

  • Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.

  • If using, add Dijon mustard to the gravy mixture and stir it in.

  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.

  • Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the gravy before serving.


Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like carrots or potatoes to the slow cooker for a complete one-pot meal.

  • For a spicy kick, add cayenne pepper or jalapeños to the gravy.
