Description

Fiery Chicken Ramen with Creamy Garlic Sauce is a bold, spicy, and creamy dish that combines tender chicken, rich ramen noodles, and a smoky garlic sauce with a kick. This easy, weeknight-friendly recipe is perfect for spice lovers and offers a delicious twist on traditional ramen. Ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chili paste (or sriracha for extra heat)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (optional for added spice)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Ramen:

  • 2 packs ramen noodles (instant or fresh)
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken – Season chicken breasts or thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili paste. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until browned and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside to rest.
  2. Cook the Ramen – In a separate pot, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Creamy Garlic Sauce – In the same skillet where you cooked the chicken, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, soy sauce, and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Add Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine the Sauce and Noodles – Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy garlic sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Slice the Chicken – Slice the cooked chicken into strips and add it on top of the noodles.
  6. Garnish and Serve – Garnish with green onions, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds (optional). Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Spicy Level – Adjust the amount of chili paste or sriracha to your preferred spice level.
  • Vegetarian Version – Replace the chicken with tofu or vegetables like mushrooms and bell peppers.
  • Extra Veggies – Add spinach, bok choy, or snap peas to the noodles for added texture and flavor.
  • Citrus Twist – Add a squeeze of fresh lime or lemon juice for a zesty kick.
  • Creamier Sauce – Increase the amount of heavy cream or add a tablespoon of cream cheese for a richer sauce.
  • Storage – Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheating – Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of chicken broth or cream to loosen the sauce. Alternatively, reheat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
  • Freezing – Not recommended due to the creamy sauce, which may separate when thawed.
