Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.

- Add Rice: Stir in the uncooked rice and mix well. Transfer everything into the prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Cover and Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and tender.
- Add Cheese (Optional): If using cheese, remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Vegetable Addition: Add sautéed mushrooms, peas, or green beans for extra flavor and nutrients.
- Spicy Kick: Stir in red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a spicier version.
- Cheesy: Use a variety of cheeses like cheddar, mozzarella, or Gruyère for a gooey, melty topping.
