Description

Healthy Dill Pickle Cottage Cheese Ranch is a creamy, protein-packed dip that combines the tangy flavor of dill pickles with the rich taste of cottage cheese and ranch seasonings. This healthy dip is perfect for snacking, pairing with fresh veggies, or using as a salad dressing. Low-carb, gluten-free, and easily customizable, it’s a guilt-free treat that’s as satisfying as it is delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese (full-fat or low-fat)
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt or Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Dill Pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Pickle Juice
  • 1 tsp Dried Dill (or 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1/4 tsp Salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice (optional, for extra tang)

Instructions

  • In a food processor or blender, combine the cottage cheese and Greek yogurt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the chopped pickles, pickle juice, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon juice (if using).
  • Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve with fresh vegetables, crackers, or use as a salad dressing.

Notes

  • Use fresh dill for a brighter, more vibrant flavor.
  • For a lighter version, opt for low-fat cottage cheese and Greek yogurt.
  • Add cayenne pepper or chopped jalapeños for some heat.
