Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, along with the vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out cookies, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
