Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese, small curds, drained
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried herbs (optional, like thyme or parsley)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with olive oil spray.
- Prepare Cottage Cheese: Drain the cottage cheese to remove excess moisture.
- Mix Seasonings: In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Form Chips: Drop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the baking sheet. Flatten each portion into thin rounds using the back of a spoon or your fingers.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool: Allow the chips to cool on the baking sheet before serving.
Notes
- Storage: Store cooled chips in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
- Freezing: Freeze chips in a sealed zipper bag for up to 1 month. Reheat in the oven for 5-7 minutes at 350°F to restore crispiness.
- Variations: Add cinnamon and monk fruit sweetener for a sweet chip, or try Italian seasoning and Parmesan for a savory twist. For spice, use chili flakes or cayenne pepper.
