Description

This Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken recipe offers a crispy, golden chicken crust topped with a melt-in-your-mouth mozzarella layer. A delicious, easy-to-make dish that mimics restaurant-quality flavors in your own home, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup bread crumbs

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease your baking dish.

  • In a shallow dish, mix the bread crumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.

  • In another dish, whisk together eggs and milk.

  • Place flour in a third dish.

  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.

  • Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish. Mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with mozzarella and garlic, then sprinkle over the chicken.

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can use Italian breadcrumbs.

  • Add sautéed spinach under the cheese layer for a tasty variation.

  • Try using chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier texture.

  • If you prefer a spicy twist, add red pepper flakes to the bread crumb mixture.
