- 1 carrot, peeled and cut into matchsticks
- 3 scallions, thinly sliced
- For the Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken or beef broth
- For Garnish:
- Toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prepare the Ramen Noodles – Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Marinate the Beef – In a medium bowl, toss sliced flank steak with cornstarch until evenly coated. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Sear the Beef – Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics – In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add sesame oil. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant (about 1 minute).
