Description

This No-Bake Fairy Bread Slice is a fun, festive, and easy-to-make treat inspired by classic Australian fairy bread! With a buttery biscuit base, creamy white chocolate topping, and colorful sprinkles, this no-bake dessert is perfect for parties, birthdays, or an everyday sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 250g plain biscuits (Scotch Finger or digestive biscuits)
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 200g sweetened condensed milk (½ can)
  • 200g white chocolate, melted
  • ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles (hundreds and thousands)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Crush biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor or place them in a sealed plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Mix Ingredients: Stir in melted butter and sweetened condensed milk until the mixture holds together when pressed.
  3. Form the Base: Line a 20cm (8-inch) square baking tin with baking paper and press the biscuit mixture evenly into the tin.
  4. Add Topping: Pour melted white chocolate over the biscuit base and spread evenly.
  5. Decorate: Sprinkle generously with rainbow sprinkles.
  6. Set: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until the chocolate is firm.
  7. Slice & Serve: Once set, remove from the tin and cut into squares or triangles. Enjoy chilled!

Notes

  • Chocolate Variation: Swap white chocolate for milk or dark chocolate.
  • Nutty Crunch: Stir in ½ cup chopped almonds or hazelnuts for added texture.
  • Gluten-Free Option: Use gluten-free biscuits for a gluten-free version.
  • Colorful Topping: Add food coloring to the white chocolate for a more vibrant look.
