Description

This One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is the perfect weeknight dinner! Juicy chicken breasts, rich buttery egg noodles, and a creamy Parmesan sauce come together in just one pan. Ready in under 30 minutes with minimal cleanup, this comforting meal is quick, delicious, and family-friendly.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Chicken – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the Noodles – In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant (30 seconds). Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then bring to a simmer. Add egg noodles, cover, and cook until tender (8-10 minutes).
3️⃣ Combine – Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Return the chicken to the skillet and let it warm through.
4️⃣ Serve – Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy warm!

Notes

Make It Cheesy – Add extra Parmesan or a sprinkle of mozzarella.
Spice It Up – Add red pepper flakes or cayenne.
Use Different Pasta – Swap egg noodles for fettuccine, rotini, or penne.
Add Veggies – Stir in spinach, mushrooms, or peas.
Make It Lighter – Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
