Description

Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are delicious bite-sized snacks filled with gooey mozzarella, tangy marinara sauce, and spicy pepperoni, all wrapped in golden-brown biscuit dough. Perfect for parties, game days, or a quick family meal, these pizza bombs are easy to make and loaded with flavor!

Ingredients

For the Pizza Bombs:

  • 1 (16-ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough (e.g., Pillsbury™ Grands!)
  • ½ cup pizza or marinara sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni

For the Topping:

  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, garlic powder, or fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  • Prepare Dough: Open biscuit dough and separate pieces. Flatten each into a ¼-inch thick circle.
  • Assemble Pizza Bombs: Place 1 tsp of pizza sauce in the center of each dough circle. Top with mozzarella cheese and a few pepperoni slices.
  • Seal the Bombs: Pull the dough edges up and over the filling, pinching tightly to seal into a ball.
  • Add Toppings: Mix melted butter, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Brush over the dough balls.
  • Bake: Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  • Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Pair with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Customize Fillings: Add mushrooms, sausage, or bell peppers.
  • Dough Options: Use pizza dough or crescent roll dough for variation.
  • Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheating: Warm in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10 minutes or microwave for 20-30 seconds.
