Ingredients
For the Steak Bites:
- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp (28g) butter
For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup (120ml) beef broth
- ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the Steak: Sprinkle the steak bites with salt and pepper.
- Sear the Steak: Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 3-4 minutes, turning until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add beef broth, scraping the skillet to deglaze. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Thicken the Sauce: Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
- Combine & Serve: Return steak to the skillet, toss to coat, and let warm for 1-2 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve over pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
Notes
- Cheese Swap: Use Pecorino Romano or Asiago for a different twist.
- Spicy Kick: Add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
- Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
