Description

These Cottage Cheese Chips are a high-protein, low-carb, and gluten-free snack that’s crispy, satisfying, and incredibly easy to make! Using just one main ingredient—cottage cheese—plus your favorite seasonings, you can create a crunchy, guilt-free chip alternative perfect for snacking or dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk cottage cheese (small curds work best)
  • Optional seasonings:
    • Everything Bagel seasoning
    • Garlic powder
    • Onion powder
    • Chili powder
    • Dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, or chives)
    • Shredded cheddar or Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Cottage Cheese: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of cottage cheese onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Flatten each scoop to ¼-inch thick using the back of a spoon.
  • Season: Sprinkle your choice of seasonings or shredded cheese over each portion.
  • Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the edges turn dark brown and the centers are a golden brown. The browner they get, the crispier they will be.
  • Cool & Enjoy: Let the chips cool completely on the baking sheet—they will continue to crisp as they cool.

Notes

  • Extra Cheesy: Mix in shredded cheddar or Parmesan before baking for added flavor.
  • Herb Infusion: Stir in dried rosemary, thyme, or chives for a fresh, aromatic touch.
  • Spicy Kick: Add chili powder, cayenne, or smoked paprika for a bold, spicy flavor.
  • Sweet Version: Sprinkle with cinnamon and a sugar substitute for a unique sweet snack
