Description

Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip offers the bold, zesty flavors of the classic buffalo chicken dip with a lighter, protein-packed twist. Made with lean chicken, Greek yogurt, and cottage cheese, this dip is high in protein, low in fat, and perfect for a healthier snack or party appetizer. It’s a crowd-pleaser with a kick of spice, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (plain, non-fat)
  • 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese (low-fat or fat-free)
  • 1/4 cup Buffalo Sauce (adjust to heat preference)
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tbsp Ranch Seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Green Onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with shredded cheese and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
  • Serve with veggie sticks, whole-grain crackers, or tortilla chips.

Notes

  • Swap chicken for lean ground turkey for a lighter version.
  • For a dairy-free dip, substitute with dairy-free yogurt and cheese alternatives.
  • Add more buffalo sauce or cayenne pepper for an extra spicy kick.
  • For a crunchier dip, add chopped celery or bell peppers.
